Craftooba Paper mache hanging birds set of 2

Chhau mask or cheriyal mask are the inspiration behind these paper mache hanging birds. Originating in the state of Telangana, these birds are made of the same material that makes up the cheriyal mask, ie tamarind and tree gum with the addition of cow dung and paper. They are beautifully crafted and vibrantly coloured. Additionally, there is a small loop where the birds can be strung up.
